Hello! I am known online by the name baldeagle. While I’ve been online for well over a decade, I’ve only in the past year or so begun to establish anything resembling a business. I own almost 100 domain names, most of which are parked, and I’ve been reasonably successful in building an online community (I purchased an existing message board and have been developing it over the past twenty months). But as blogs go, at least blogs with any earnings potential, I’m a noob.

There are a lot of sites professing to make “full-time” money. I, like many of you, can’t help but be drawn in by that dream. But I am very much a realist and “full-time” money for me is more than pocket change. I’m not ready to quit my “land-line” job, but I am going to begin an experiment.

I’m going to start regularly posting to four distinctly different blogs. This will be my blog about blogging. The other blogs include:

  • Who Do We Think We Are? - A sports blog dedicated to the online community I own (eaglepost.net). This site focuses on Southern Miss athletics, but I do go off topic occasionally.
  • Fight Interest - A finance blog on debt reduction. Being an accountant, and having dealt with debt issues myself, I’ve learned a great deal on this topic.
  • Can-AmFan - A blog dedicated to owners and fans of the new BRP Can-Am Spyder. They are just now taking the streets and I happen to own on of the original production models (#405 of 650 to be exact). If nothing else, I’ll have fun chatting about my toy!

I’m sure there will be others over time.  But this is a good starting point.  Let the experiment begin!
